Man Crush of the Day: Actor Armie Hammer

So, I feel like the only person who hasn’t seen The Social Network and really I have no desire to see the film. The story of Facebook – scandal, deceit, betrayal! Uh, no thanks, I watch soap operas for that and won’t pay $8.00 to watch a motion picture about something I can Google. A couple weeks ago I featured The Social Network’s Andrew Garfield and his Details spread and while I think he’s cute, the real shining star of the film (in my view) is Armie Hammer. He played the Winklevoss twins (yes, both of them) and oh, what a gorgeous man. I caught the real twins on 60 Minutes a while back and they’re pretty hot but my gosh, so is Armie Hammer.

Armand Douglas “Armie” Hammer is a descendant of the guy who founded the whole Arm & Hammer brand but he’s not just one of those folks who’s tried to profit off the name alone (like, say, Paris Hilton). He’s made quite a name for himself as an actor and has had television appearances in shows ranging from Gossip Girl, Desperate Housewives, Reaper and Veronica Mars. He’s been in other films besides The Social Network including Flicka, Billy: The Early Years (about Billy Graham), Blackout and will be starring in the upcoming film J. Edgar alongside (barf) Leonard DiCaprio. There’s a lot that I like about Armie Hammer from his sense of humor to the dreamy boy-next-door look and the un-manscaped chest hair … well anyways, I can’t wait to see him getting a bit queer with his J. Edgar role. If only he was paired with someone equally as hot and not rat-faced looking like Leonard DiCaprio.

Man Crush of the Day: Actor and model Dave Franco

When choosing guys for this blog, I try not to pick the totally obvious ones. You know, the celebrities that are always in your face, the ones on television every night, the ones that just make you roll your eyes because they’re overexposed. So I’ve abstained from featuring James Franco, though he’ll eventually make his way on here as a featured crush. You know who deserves a little attention? His brother, Dave! Dave Franco was (sorta) recently on the ill-received new Scrubs series on ABC where he played the dumb, rich but hawt ass Cole. Oh, I loved me some Cole. He was totally oblivious at times but was ultimately entertaining, especially when he went shirtless a few times. Dave was recently featured in a fashion spread within Flaunt magazine a few weeks ago.

Let’s make this sound like one of those dating connection services. Dave was born in June of 1985 making him a Gemini. His first big acting role was a guest stint on 7th Heaven back in 2006. He was a part of that horribly unfunny Fox show Do Not Disturb that was canceled pretty quickly and swept under the rug. He’s currently shooting a remake of the 1985 film Fright Night with Colin Farrel, which should make for some eye candy-packed viewing. He often shoots and makes Funny or Die films with his brother James, one of which featured him in nothing more than his underwear. It’s definitely worth watching just for the visual stimulation. Above all, he’s pretty darn hot and I’d have a bit of a hard time choosing between him and his brother James. How about you all?

Man Crush of the Day: Fashion model Dionisio “D.O.” Heiderscheid

Happy hump day and boy, do I have a crush that’ll definitely put you in a humping mood. A couple weeks ago when I featured porn star Kennedy Carter I came across a photo taken from a scene he filmed with a guy I wasn’t familiar with who went by “D.O.” So, I did some searching and saw that this guy is a bit of a porn superhero. He’s from Argentina and is actually a fashion model … who also does porn. Doesn’t that sound like the great setup for a Lifetime or Hallmark movie? When he’s doing fashion, he goes by his full name, Dionisio Heiderscheid; when he’s doing adult films, he goes by D.O. I’m always curious what certain male models look like in the buff considering most takes pics of themselves nearly nude to begin with. Man Crush of the Day: Realtor and reality star Chad Rogers

A few months ago I was having a decent day until I came across some devastating news: Chad Rogers wouldn’t be a part of the new season of Million Dollar Listing on Bravo. What?! After I re-read the article and let the news marinate in my head, I came to terms with it. I have to say though that having a Chad-less Million Dollar Listing just doesn’t feel right! Now, I know fans are a bit split on Chad but I’m all for Chad. You see, he was unique enough to stand out and keep my attention. Josh always comes off as pretentious and sleazy and Madison … eh … his slow coming out process just wasn’t compelling because he seemed to be the only one unaware that he was as gay as a Sex and the City marathon on Logo. Chad has his quirks; he’s OC about his hair, but the guy has a pretty darn good grasp on fashion for a straight guy. He totes around a little dog that helps him make big sales; he usually was faced with some impossible task but managed to meet it head on and make a profit. And considering why he’s on this blog, I always thought Chad was pretty cute! He looks like a little emo kid and doesn’t seem to age appearance wise. Give me some Chad Rogers anytime, anyplace any day!

Man Crush of the Day: ‘One Life to Live’ star David A. Gregory

I remember flipping through the channels one summer afternoon in 2009 and coming across the muscled hunk on the ABC soap One Life to Live. It was a scene that looked like it was straight out of a late night Cinemax movie. There was innocent Langston walking by a window and she looks outside to catch Ford, played by the super hunky David A. Gregory, showering and washing himself off outside. The scene showed the water flowing down his massive pecs, streaming down his rippling abs and showed him just totally oblivious to the fact that he was being eye f*cked by a goo-goo eyed Langston. From then on I’ve been an avid viewer of this soap and fan of David Gregory who just seems larger than life with his Spartan-like muscles and body.

You’ll probably be surprised to know that David has a slight connection to Levi Johnson and Sarah Palin – he’s from Alaska! Born in 1985, he grew up knowing he wanted to be an actor and considers Jerry Lewis as a childhood idol. He went to college, graduated but went seven months with no work until he landed the role of Robert Ford on One Life to Live. Seriously, once you see this guy shirtless you’ll be a soap fan too because you’ll probably be taking many cold showers to get over the heat wave that’ll hit you. Check out hot pics of David below.

Man Crush of the Day: Actor and model Colton Haynes

I feel like I’m probably the only person who watched The Gates last summer on ABC. The show is (or was) like a love affair between Desperate Housewives and Twilight and featured Colton Haynes as Brett Crezski, the resident high school jock by day and werewolf by night (and sometimes during the day, too). It was announced soon after that he will also be a part of MTV’s Teen Wolf series playing the part of Jackson Whittmore … a bullying jock. This must be his niche but I’m hoping it means we’ll catch him all shirtless, sweaty and buff like he was for his similar role in The Gates.

This hottie hails from Wichita, Kansas and was born in 1988. His career started with modeling for Abercrombie & Fitch when he was just 15 years old. Funny enough, he also appeared in The Hills as a model. He’s had a few guest roles on shows including Privileged, CSI: Miami and Pushing Daisies before his big role on The Gates.   Modeling for Abercrombie & Fitch, hanging out with Chace Crawford … is this guy gay or straight? I have no idea but what what I do know is that if he’s unsure I’d gladly volunteer to help him find out. He and I can practice getting all hot and bothered and wolf howls. Man Crush of the Day: ‘CSI: Miami’ actor Jonathan Togo

I am not a fan of the CSI franchise. There, I said it. I mean, this franchise has a couple dozen series that all seem as if they’re recycling the plot lines. I am, however a fan of cute guys and Jonathan Togo definitely qualifies as a hottie. Jonathan plays Ryan Wolfe on CSI: Miami, a role he’s had since 2004. He’s appeared on various other shows such as Judging Amy, Special Unit 2 and had a role in the movie Mystic River. If you check out his shirtless pics below, they come off a bit suspect but he claims he’s straight and has a girlfriend. ::blink:: Well anyways, he’s definitely a cutie and needs to appear shirtless more often! Man Crush of the Day: ‘White Collar’ star Matt Bomer

USA Network’s White Collar is one of those shows I never watch but hear a lot about. No one really gets much into discussing the plot as they do about how hot the show’s lead actor, Matt Bomer, is. The first time I saw Matt Bomer was really in an Entertainment Weekly photo spread where they had him pouring water all over himself. He had this little white t-shirt that was soaked and clinging to his skin, revealing all his muscles and it all was just too much to handle. I seriously cannot believe a guy like Matt Bomer exists outside of a dream or fantasy. He’s perfection! The chilling blue eyes, the perfect hair you want to tussle and run your fingers through, the strong jaw line, the always present 5 o’clock shadow. I just want to wake up every morning, roll over and find him staring at me with that sly smile of his. There’s a lot more to that little fantasy but I’ll end it there for the purposes of keeping this PG13.

As stated, Bomer plays Neal Caffrey on the show White Collar. He’s a Texan and lives up to that belief that everything’s bigger in Texas because he seems a bit larger than life. Acting wise he got his start on All My Children but spent two years play Ben Reade on CBS’ The Guiding Light. His other acting roles included roles on a few shows that didn’t last long including Tru Calling, Traveler and North Shore and his movie credits include Flightplan and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. Before landing the lead role on White Collar he had a recurring role on NBC’s Chuck. He’s been pretty coy toward answering the subject of his sexuality and his impeccable looks, fine fashion sense and awesome bod has me thinking he’s a likely pink-card carrying member. Man Crush of the Day: Hurdler and runner David Oliver

Being a bit of a short guy, taller guys really intrigue me. I’m also a fan of running so when I came across a photo of David Oliver a few weeks ago I felt like I’d just come across the best of both worlds. I mean, seriously, look at this man! He’s really the definition of “tall, dark and handsome” and a whole lot of other sexy adjectives. Since he’s not a football or basketball player, it’s likely you may not have heard of him so here’s a nice little introduction to this hot athlete.

He won bronze at the 2008 Beijing Olympics in the 110 meter hurdles category. He also is a record holder in terms of America for the same category. Born in 1982, he climbed to fan during his college days at Howard University. While in college he also played football for Howard but his main area of expertise was definitely track and field. He continued running and jumping hurdles professionally after college and continues to compete while adding more awards to his already impressive collection. That being said, let’s get real. This man is gorgeous. His long muscular legs, those abs, the everything. I wish he’d jump straight into my bed and then we can jump a few hurdles on our own.
